Winston Garland, wearing #22 for the Minnesota Timberwolves, is a former NBA player who was born on May 19, 1964, in Gary, Indiana. He played college basketball at Southwest Missouri State University before being selected by the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round of the 1987 NBA Draft. Garland played for several teams during his NBA career, including the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers, Denver Nuggets, and Houston Rockets. He is perhaps best known for his time with the Warriors, where he played a key role in the team's playoff run to the Western Conference Finals in 1989.
