Luc Longley is a retired NBA player who played for several teams during his career, including the Minnesota Timberwolves. He was born on January 19, 1969, in Melbourne, Australia. Longley played college basketball at the University of New Mexico and later played professionally in Australia before being drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round of the 1991 NBA draft. During his NBA career, Longley played for several teams, including the Chicago Bulls, where he won three NBA championships alongside Michael Jordan in the late 1990s. After retiring from basketball, Longley became a successful basketball coach and mentor to young players in Australia.
