Tyrone Hill was born on March 19, 1968, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He grew up in a rough neighborhood and was forced to overcome adversity from a young age. Hill was a standout basketball player in high school and went on to play college basketball at Xavier University. After college, he was drafted by the Golden State Warriors in the first round of the 1990 NBA Draft. Hill played for several teams throughout his NBA career, including the Cleveland Cavaliers, Philadelphia 76ers, and Miami Heat. He was known for his rebounding and defensive abilities, and he was a key contributor to the 76ers' run to the NBA Finals in 2001. After retiring from the NBA, Hill became a high school basketball coach in Ohio.
