Anthony Goldwire is a retired NBA player who played for several teams during his career, including the Washington Wizards. He was born on September 6, 1971, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Goldwire played college basketball at the University of Houston and was selected by the Phoenix Suns in the second round of the 1994 NBA draft. During his NBA career, Goldwire played for several teams, including the Wizards, the Denver Nuggets, and the Charlotte Hornets. He was known for his quickness and defensive abilities. After retiring from basketball, Goldwire worked as a basketball coach and mentor to young players.
