He was born on February 7, 1995, in Texas and attended Tulane University, where he played college basketball. After college, Reynolds signed with the Stockton Kings of the NBA Development League, where he played for one season. He then signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the 2018-2019 season but was waived after appearing in just 19 games. Reynolds has since played for several teams overseas, including Zenit Saint Petersburg in Russia. In 2019, Reynolds signed a two-way contract with the Timberwolves and made his NBA debut that season.
