Sam Mack was a shooting guard who played for the Rockets from 1997 to 1999. He was undrafted out of college but managed to make it to the NBA after a stint in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA). He also played for the Vancouver Grizzlies and the Miami Heat during his NBA career. Mack was known for his 3-point shooting ability and helped the Rockets reach the playoffs in 1999.
