Lee Johnson is a former NBA point guard who played for four different teams during his career from 1980 to 1990. Johnson was born on July 17, 1956, in Brooklyn, New York, and played college basketball at East Tennessee State University. He was selected by the Houston Rockets in the second round of the 1980 NBA draft. Johnson spent four seasons with the Rockets and was known for his quickness and ability to distribute the ball. He averaged 7.1 points, 2.8 assists, and 1.9 rebounds per game during his time with the Rockets. Johnson then played for the New Jersey Nets, San Antonio Spurs, and Golden State Warriors before retiring in 1990.
