James Jones is a former NBA player who played as a small forward and shooting guard. He was born on October 4, 1980, in Miami, Florida, and played college basketball at the University of Miami. In 2003, he was selected by the Indiana Pacers in the second round of the NBA draft. He played for several NBA teams, including the Indiana Pacers, the Phoenix Suns, the Miami Heat, and the Cleveland Cavaliers. After retiring from playing basketball, he became the vice president of basketball operations for the Phoenix Suns.
