Mack Calvin is a retired NBA player who played for several teams during his career, including the Los Angeles Lakers. He was born on July 27, 1947, in Fort Worth, Texas. Calvin played college basketball at the University of Southern California and was selected by the Lakers in the fourth round of the 1969 NBA draft. During his NBA career, Calvin played for several teams, including the Lakers, the Utah Jazz, and the Houston Rockets. He was known for his scoring ability and was a three-time ABA All-Star. After retiring from basketball, Calvin worked as a coach and television analyst.
