Kings #3 Ed Fleming was born on July 2, 1942, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He played college basketball at Saint Joseph's University and was drafted by the Boston Celtics in the fifth round of the 1964 NBA draft. Fleming played for several teams in the NBA and ABA during his career, including the Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, and Pittsburgh Pipers. He was known for his strong defensive play and aggressive style on the court. Fleming wore the number 3 jersey for the Sacramento Kings during the 1969-70 season.
