Kelly Tripucka was a small forward who played in the NBA from 1981 to 1991. He was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the 1st round of the 1981 NBA draft. Tripucka played his college basketball at the University of Notre Dame, where he was a two-time consensus All-American. He was a prolific scorer during his NBA career, averaging 17.2 points per game. Tripucka played for the Detroit Pistons, Utah Jazz, Charlotte Hornets, and Boston Celtics during his NBA career.
