James Donaldson is a retired NBA player who played for several teams during his career, including the Los Angeles Clippers. He was born on August 16, 1957, in Heacham, England. Donaldson played college basketball at Washington State University and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Seattle SuperSonics in 1980. During his NBA career, Donaldson played for several teams, including the Clippers, the Dallas Mavericks, and the New York Knicks. He was known for his rebounding and shot-blocking abilities and was named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 1988. After retiring from basketball, Donaldson worked as a public speaker and author.
