John Gianelli is a former American professional basketball player who played in the NBA from 1972 to 1980. He played for the Bucks, Knicks, and Nets before finishing his career with the Clippers. Gianelli played college basketball at the University of Pacific before being drafted by the Bucks in 1972. He was a key player for the Knicks during their championship season in 1973, and was known for his rebounding and interior defense. After retiring from basketball, Gianelli worked as a broadcaster and analyst for the Knicks and the NBA.
