Wesley Johnson was born on July 11, 1987, in Corsicana, Texas. He attended Syracuse University, where he played college basketball for the Orange. Johnson was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the 2010 NBA draft. He played for the Timberwolves for two seasons before being traded to the Phoenix Suns. Johnson also played for the Los Angeles Lakers, the New Orleans Pelicans, and the Washington Wizards during his NBA career.
