LeRon Ellis is a retired professional basketball player who played in the NBA from 1991 to 1995. He was born on April 28, 1969, in Los Angeles, California. Ellis played college basketball at the University of Kentucky, where he was a member of the 1990 NCAA championship team. He was then drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the 1991 NBA draft. Ellis was a power forward/center during his career, known for his athleticism and his ability to block shots. He played for several NBA teams during his career, including the Los Angeles Clippers, Charlotte Hornets, and Miami Heat. He averaged 4.0 points and 2.5 rebounds per game over his NBA career.
