Kareem Rush is a former American professional basketball player who played as a shooting guard in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for six seasons. He was born on October 30, 1980, in Kansas City, Missouri. He played college basketball for the University of Missouri and was selected by the Toronto Raptors as the 20th overall pick in the 2002 NBA draft. He played for several NBA teams including the Lakers, Pacers, Bobcats, 76ers, and Clippers. Rush's most notable seasons were with the Lakers, where he played alongside Kobe Bryant and won the NBA Championship in 2004. He averaged 6.4 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game throughout his NBA career.
