Norm Cook was a professional basketball player who played in the NBA. He was born on December 25, 1946, in California and attended Kansas State University, where he played college basketball. After college, Cook was selected by the Boston Celtics in the third round of the 1968 NBA draft. He played for the Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers during his NBA career. Cook was a center known for his rebounding and defensive skills and was a key contributor to the Celtics during the 1973-74 season. After retiring from professional basketball, Cook worked in the insurance industry.
