Vin Baker is a retired American professional basketball player who played in the NBA for several years. Born on November 23, 1971, in Lake Wales, Florida, Baker began playing basketball at a young age and later played college basketball at the University of Hartford. He was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the 1993 NBA draft and played for several other NBA teams, including the Seattle SuperSonics and the Boston Celtics. Baker struggled with substance abuse issues during his career but later overcame his addiction and has since become a successful businessman and motivational speaker.
