Patrick O'Bryant was born on June 20, 1986, in Nashville, Tennessee. He attended Bradley University, where he played college basketball for the Braves. O'Bryant was selected by the Golden State Warriors in the first round of the 2006 NBA draft. He played for the Warriors for two seasons before playing for the Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, and Xinjiang Flying Tigers in China during his NBA career. After retiring from basketball, O'Bryant became an entrepreneur and founded a company that provides financial education for athletes.
