Carl Nicks, an American professional basketball player, enjoyed a successful career in the NBA for multiple years. He was born on January 20, 1955, in Seattle, Washington. Nicks discovered his passion for basketball at a young age and went on to play college basketball at Indiana State University. Following his college career, he was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the third round of the 1977 NBA draft. Nicks represented the Cavaliers for two seasons before ultimately retiring from professional basketball in 1979.
