Kevin Ollie is a former professional basketball player who played in the NBA and overseas. He was born on December 27, 1972, in Texas and attended the University of Connecticut, where he played college basketball. After college, Ollie played for several teams in the NBA, including the Dallas Mavericks, the Orlando Magic, the Sacramento Kings, and the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was known for his leadership skills and was a key player for the UConn Huskies when they won the NCAA championship in 1995. After retiring from professional basketball, Ollie worked as a coach and was the head coach for the UConn men's basketball team from 2012 to 2018.
