Mike Dunleavy is a former professional basketball player who played for several teams in the NBA. He was born on March 21, 1954, in New York and attended the University of South Carolina, where he played college basketball. After college, Dunleavy was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers in the third round of the 1976 NBA draft. He played for the 76ers, the Houston Rockets, and the San Antonio Spurs before retiring from professional basketball in 1983. Dunleavy was known for his shooting ability and was a key contributor off the bench.
