Philadelphia 76ers #35 Bob Weiss was born on May 7, 1942, in Easton, Pennsylvania. Weiss was a star basketball player at Easton High School, and he went on to play college basketball at Penn State. After college, Weiss was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in the third round of the 1965 NBA draft. Weiss played in the NBA for 12 seasons, playing for a number of different teams, including the 76ers, the Seattle SuperSonics, and the Chicago Bulls. After retiring from playing, Weiss went on to have a successful career as a coach, serving as head coach for several NBA teams, including the San Antonio Spurs, the Atlanta Hawks, and the Los Angeles Clippers.
