Greg Smith was a former NBA power forward who played for three seasons from 2011 to 2014. He was born on January 8, 1991, in Fresno, California, and played college basketball at Fresno State University. Smith went undrafted in the 2011 NBA draft but signed with the Houston Rockets as a free agent. Smith played for the Rockets, Dallas Mavericks, and Chicago Bulls during his NBA career. He was known for his rebounding and shot-blocking abilities. In 181 NBA games, Smith averaged 5.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 0.8 blocks per game. He left the NBA in 2014 and played professionally overseas before retiring in 2017.
