Desmond Farmer is a former professional basketball player who played in the NBA and overseas. Farmer was born in Flint, Michigan and played college basketball at USC, where he was a standout player and earned All-Pac-10 Conference honors. After college, Farmer played professionally in Europe and Asia before signing with the Charlotte Bobcats in 2006. He played for the Bobcats and the Oklahoma City Thunder during his NBA career, and also played in the NBA G League. Farmer retired from playing in 2010 and has since worked as a coach and trainer, helping young players develop their skills and reach their potential.
